01How it works

How to use the Twitter viewer

A Twitter viewer lets you read X, formerly Twitter, without an X account. Since 2023 X shows logged-out visitors a login wall after one post and hides profiles behind it. This viewer reads public profiles and posts from its own server and shows them plain: no wall, no app prompt, no feed. Type a username, or paste a profile or post link, and read.

02Without an account

View X anonymously, without an account

You never log in here and X never sees who you are. The page is fetched by our server, so nothing is tied to an X account, and the profile owner gets no notification, no follow and no profile view. X has no profile view history, so nobody can see that you looked.

What stays hidden is the same as in a logged-out browser: protected accounts, deleted posts, replies X hides, and posts limited to subscribers. If an account shows no posts here, it is protected or has not posted yet.

View an X profile

Type the username with or without the @. You get the name, bio, links, follower and following counts, join date and the recent posts with their likes, replies, reposts and views. Sort them newest first or most liked first.

Read a post and its replies

Paste the post link and you get the post with its picture, quoted post and counts, plus the newest replies with their likes. Search the replies by word or username and download them as a CSV. Long threads show the newest replies; open the post on X for the rest.

Photos and videos

Photos show as thumbnails next to the post and open on X. Videos show their cover image and open on X. This viewer does not download media.

What this viewer does not do

It cannot show protected accounts, deleted posts, hidden replies, who liked a post, who follows an account, direct messages, or anything behind a login. It does not search X by keyword or hashtag.

03FAQ

Twitter viewer FAQ

Can I view Twitter without an account?

Yes. Type a username or paste a link and read the profile or the post here. The viewer reads public pages from its own server and never asks you to log in.

Is it free?

Yes. Each visitor gets five free views a week, and a free Adlicio account gets 30 a day. The tool has a shared daily budget, so on a very busy day it can pause until midnight UTC.

Does the account owner know I looked?

No. Nothing is sent to an X account, and X has no profile view history, so nobody can see that you looked.

Can I see protected (private) accounts?

No. A protected account shows its name, bio and follower count here, the same as on X when you are logged out, but not its posts.

Can I see who liked a post or who follows someone?

No. X shows like and follower counts to logged-out visitors, not the lists of accounts, and this viewer only reads what is public.

Can I read the replies to a post?

Yes. Paste the post link. You get the newest replies with their likes, and a search box to find a word or a username. Very long threads show the newest replies; open the post on X for the rest.

Does it work with twitter.com links and t.co links?

Yes. x.com, twitter.com, mobile links and t.co short links all work. Short links are followed to the post first.

How many posts does it show?

Up to 60 recent posts on a profile, including reposts and quotes, and the newest replies on a post, usually about 20.

Can I download videos or photos?

No. Photos show as thumbnails and videos show their cover, and both open on X. This viewer reads text and counts, it is not a downloader.

Can I search X by keyword or hashtag?

No. This viewer reads one profile or one post at a time. For research across many accounts, the Adlicio app searches by keyword.

Why does a profile show no posts?

It is protected, it has not posted yet, or X is limiting requests for a moment. Try again in a minute.

Why does it say the tool is resting?

The viewer has a daily budget so that nobody can run up our costs. When it is used up it resets at midnight UTC. Pages opened earlier today still load from the cache.
