How to use the Instagram comment viewer

An Instagram comment viewer shows the comments on a public Instagram post, reel or carousel in one place. This one reads them the way a logged-out browser does: paste the link, search by keyword or username, sort by likes, see the replies, and export what you see as a CSV. No login, and the account owner is never notified.

    Any public post, reel or carousel works, including the short share link the Instagram app copies. Private accounts and comments the creator has limited are not visible to anyone, including this tool.

    Type a word or a username to filter. Sort by likes to find what the audience agreed with. Replies are marked under the comment they answer.

See every comment on any public post or reel, no account needed

You do not need an Instagram account to use this viewer, and you never log in. It reads a public post the same way a logged-out browser does, so the account owner sees nothing: no follow, no view notification, no trace in their activity. Your own account, if you have one, is never involved.

What stays hidden is the same as in a logged-out browser. Private accounts, close friends posts, comments the creator has hidden or limited, and comments Instagram has removed do not come through. If a post shows no comments here, that is usually why.

Find a specific person's comment by username

Type a username in the search box and the list narrows to that account's comments and replies inside the post you loaded. The search covers the comments collected for that one post, up to 100 top level comments plus their replies. It does not search everything a person has ever written across Instagram, because Instagram does not expose that to anyone.

Export Instagram comments to CSV or Excel

The download is free. The CSV holds the author, like count, comment text, date and a link back to each comment, and it opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. If you searched first, the file contains the matching comments only. For posts with thousands of comments, the Adlicio app pulls the full thread with every reply, and there is a step by step guide to exporting Instagram comments.

Posts, reels and share links

Links to posts, reels and carousels all work, including the short share links the Instagram app copies from the share sheet. On a phone, tap the three dots or the paper plane on the post, choose Copy link, and paste it here. Profile links and story links do not work, because a profile is not a post and stories have no public comments.

Hidden, deleted and limited comments

No viewer can show comments that Instagram or the creator has removed, hidden or limited. Once a comment is gone from the public post it is gone from here too. Any tool that promises deleted comments is guessing.

Can you view someone's Instagram comments?

On a public post, yes. Paste the post or reel link and the collected comments appear with each author's username. Search a username to see that person's comments on that post. There is no way, here or anywhere, to list everything one account has commented across Instagram.

Can I view Instagram comments for free?

Yes. The viewer is free and needs no account. Each visitor gets three free pulls a week, and a free Adlicio account gets 30 a day. The tool also has a shared daily budget, so on a very busy day it can pause until midnight UTC.

Does it work without an Instagram account?

Yes. The viewer reads public posts and reels the same way a logged-out browser does. Private accounts, close friends posts and limited comments stay hidden.

Is there a free anonymous Instagram comment viewer app?

This page is one, and it needs no install. It works in the browser on a phone or a computer. Nothing is posted, nothing is followed, and the account owner is not notified.

Is there a way to see someone's comments on Instagram?

Inside one post, yes: load the post and search the username. Across a whole profile, no. Instagram does not publish a list of the comments an account has left, and tools that claim to have one are not reading Instagram.

Is it safe to use?

The viewer never asks for your Instagram login or password and never connects to your account. It only reads what a logged-out browser can see on a public post, and nothing is sent to the account owner.

Can I view comments on private accounts?

No. Private accounts are private for logged-out visitors too, and this viewer does not log in. It cannot show private posts, close friends posts or the comments on them.

Can I see hidden or deleted comments?

No. When Instagram or the creator removes, hides or limits a comment, it disappears from the public post, and the viewer only reads the public post.

How many comments does it show?

Up to 100 top level comments per pull, plus the replies Instagram shows with them, most liked first. For a post with thousands of comments, the Adlicio app pulls deeper, replies included.

How long does it take?

Usually 10 to 30 seconds. Instagram sometimes hands the comments over in the background, and the page will say it is still collecting. Check again after a minute and they appear.

Does the account owner get notified?

No. Reading public comments is not an action Instagram reports. The tool never logs in, never follows and never posts.

Can I export the comments?

Yes. The CSV download is free and includes author, likes, text, date and a link to each comment. It opens in Excel and Google Sheets.

Does it work for Reels?

Yes. Reel links, post links and carousel links all work, and so do the short share links the Instagram app copies.

Why does it say the tool is resting?

The viewer has a daily budget so that nobody can run up our costs. When it is used up it resets at midnight UTC. Posts that were opened earlier today still open from the cache.
