Pacifiers. We bought so many and my baby just never took to them.

How to answerBe transparent about value and features upfront. Offer mid-price alternatives that deliver core benefits.

Hatch. 100%. Ours is basically an expensive nightlight/clock because I didn’t know most of the features require a subscription. 🤦‍♀️

  3. They outgrow it so fast, it's not worth buying

How to answerDesign products that grow with baby or offer trade-in programs. Price appropriately for short usage window.

I regretted buying baby towels. They grow out of them within 6 months and they're so stupid and small you can't wrap them up properly in them. Just wrap them up nice and cosily in a big adult towel.

We got a Boppy nursing pillow and I haaaaated it for nursing. It moved around constantly and didn't work for me. Then we got gifted a MyBrestFriend nursing pillow, absolute god send. Loved it and used the bejesus out of it.

How to answerInclude removable dedication pages or cards so books remain giftable while preserving sentimental messages.

You can definitely still donate them! One of my daughter’s favorite books was given to us secondhand, and there is a dedication to baby Roe on the inside cover. Every time I read it I think about baby Roe and hope they’re doing well.

  7. Snaps are annoying, I wish everything had zippers

How to answerDesign clothing with easy-access zippers, especially for nighttime changes. Listen to parent feedback on closures.

One way zippers are superior IF they zip from the bottom up! There's few things worse than unzipping a 2 way zip, finding out you had a containment breach, and then wrestling baby legs back into poopy pants just to get them unzipped the right way 🤢

  8. It doesn't work for my baby's specific needs or sensitivities

How to answerOffer variety packs or samples for sensitive babies. Provide clear guidance on which products suit different needs.

Scented baby soaps/lotions. Our baby ended up having super sensitive skin and eczema and any sort of fragrance, even the gentle ones, broke her out. We wasted so many lotions and soaps trying to find one that worked for her until we realized it might be the fragrances! Next…

03FAQ

Objection finder FAQ

How does Objection Finder find objections?

It searches Reddit for discussions about value, regret, disappointment, and wasted money in the category. It reads the useful comments, groups repeated reasons, and keeps linked comments as receipts.

What data does the ranking use?

The ranking uses comments from up to five relevant Reddit threads. Each count is the number of valid source comments attached to that objection in this search.

Is Objection Finder free?

Yes. You can run two searches per week without an account. A free account removes the anonymous IP gate, while the shared weekly tool budget still applies.

Why are there limits?

Each new search reads live Reddit threads and groups the comments. Limits keep the public tool available and control provider costs. Cached searches can return without another live scrape.

How do I get a full objection map in Adlicio?

Open the receipts here to check the source language. In Adlicio, scrape the complete conversations and turn the repeated objections into a voice of customer report, angles, and hooks.
