  1. High end makeup costs too much when drugstore works just as well

How to answerShow specific performance differences that justify the price, like longevity, ease of application, or unique formulas.

The price of high end makeup started sucking the fun out of it for me because I had to view it as some kind of investment. Also, drugstore formulas have come SO far. I'm pretty much a drugstore girl now. I like my NYX Butter Blushes more than I like my Pat Mc Grath blushes at…

  2. Even drugstore makeup is getting too expensive now

How to answerAcknowledge the price increase and emphasize value through longevity, multi-use products, or cost per wear.

Drugstore makeup is getting a bit pricey too though. It makes me sad

  3. The product didn't match my skin tone or type

How to answerOffer better shade-matching tools, samples, or personalized consultations before purchase to ensure the right fit.

That Il Makiage shit. Did the online questionnaire and received orange foundation, I laughed when I saw what they sent me. Garbage!

  4. The product was too thick or dry and looked unflattering on me

Shape tape holy hell I don’t know how anyone wears it

How to answerProvide application tips, primer recommendations, or reformulate to prevent smudging and creasing issues.

Toofaced Better Than Sex mascara kept giving me mad panda eyes lol

  6. The product had no color payoff, just sparkles or sheen

How to answerShow honest swatches on different skin tones and set clear expectations about pigmentation levels.

Funnily enough I came here to say, definitely that palette 😂 I wasn’t looking for colour but somehow on me it shows up as like a glossy sheen rather than any glitter or sparkles. I was prepared for disappointment and ended up being delighted!

  7. I can't justify spending that much on something I wash off immediately

    price
    2

How to answerFocus on affordable basics for cleansers while highlighting where premium ingredients truly matter for skin health.

One of the skincare hills I'll die on is that it's absolutely pointless to buy a cleanser that costs more than $15 when any basic drugstore brand will do what you want. Splurge elsewhere!

  8. I don't understand the hype, it's just average or overrated

    2

How to answerUse authentic reviews from real users instead of influencer hype, and be honest about what makes products special.

Almost everything from Rare Beauty. I just don’t get the hype with this brand. Specific products I hated were the powder, mascara, liquid lip oils, lip mousse, lipsticks and lip liners. All fails for me, worse than drugstore

  9. High end products don't perform as advertised

How to answerSet realistic expectations in marketing and back products with satisfaction guarantees or easy returns.

Totally agree, I threw out a half full bottle of Dior skin glow foundation because no matter what I did it would not melt into my skin and it just always looked bad. I bought the Wet and Wild skin hydration tint on super sale ($3) instead and have been loving it! Also the…

  10. I can't trust influencer recommendations because they use filters

How to answerShow products on unfiltered, diverse skin in real lighting and disclose all sponsored content clearly.

Seint: it’s garbage. IlMakiage: it’s worse garbage I boycott many brands that Mikayla Nougiera shills because I want to see products on unfiltered faces. She, along with other influencers, doesn’t disclose ads. In addition, her foul mouth is just unnecessary. Enough with her…

The lipstick in the tube looks nothing like what actually shows up on my lips
03FAQ

Objection finder FAQ

How does Objection Finder find objections?

It searches Reddit for discussions about value, regret, disappointment, and wasted money in the category. It reads the useful comments, groups repeated reasons, and keeps linked comments as receipts.

What data does the ranking use?

The ranking uses comments from up to five relevant Reddit threads. Each count is the number of valid source comments attached to that objection in this search.

Is Objection Finder free?

Yes. You can run two searches per week without an account. A free account removes the anonymous IP gate, while the shared weekly tool budget still applies.

Why are there limits?

Each new search reads live Reddit threads and groups the comments. Limits keep the public tool available and control provider costs. Cached searches can return without another live scrape.

How do I get a full objection map in Adlicio?

Open the receipts here to check the source language. In Adlicio, scrape the complete conversations and turn the repeated objections into a voice of customer report, angles, and hooks.
